Have you ever entered a restaurant and looked around and admired the cafe furniture or restaurant furniture that has been used to furnish the restaurant? Well now you can buy the chairs that you sat on in that restaurant if you so wish! Warings Furniture based in Norwich has been supplying contract furniture since 1986.
Run by a husband and wife team, they have supplied furniture to large corporate companies such as Pizza Express and Travelodge and if you have ever stayed or eaten in these places, the chances are that you have used one of their pieces of contract furniture or cafe furniture. Not only this, but recently the duo have won contracts to furnish Jamie Oliver's new chain of Italian restaurants.
With all this success in the commercial side of the contract furniture industry, it seems like the next logical step for the Warings to take is to branch out into the domestic market, which is exactly what they have done. The pair has opened their own cafe and restaurant furniture shop in Norwich's Crystal House on Cattle Market Street, however they have created something seemingly unique. Warings Furniture have spent the last 2 and a half decades fitting out cafes and restaurants so why not open their own right in the very shop. The great thing about this is that customers who dine or grab a quick snack at the cafe will have the opportunity to buy any of the furniture that they have used or is on display. This means that you can effectively shop while you eat. The cafe itself consists of a few sandwich and Panini options as well as a selection of homemade salads, pies and cakes. This may not be fine dining but would you really expect more from a cafe?
Café Reality is a resource for those who look to source and buy hospitality furniture at a competitive price point.
